«Ιn the heat of August, I sometimes I find I prefer to stay at home rather than jetting off on my travels. In Touchstone House I felt like home. I enjoyed the stunning geometrical mastery of indoor/outdoor space, with the terraces, designed to make the most of its views. Αnyone can benefit from spending a little time in the shade. I found my shade spot. And realized what it means to live a humble, unhurried way of life. Each room is unique. Touchstone House gave me the chance to see, hear, smell and taste new things. How soon is now to visit again?»

«Some locations have natural advantage: sunshine. Ι’m a morning person, and even at weekends I get up before 7am. Μost people decide to visit an island based on what they might see and do there. Not me. I seek out walkable islands. The ones that properly revive me are those around which I can easily and pleasurable walk. With my children, we can feel a powerful sense of history here. Having spent two weeks in Touchstone House, I managed to live a simpler life. A summer house that proves that disconnecting from the stress of city life is possible. Even in the age of email. And it does not even have to mean switching your phone off.
I was surrounded by nature and found myself forgetting where
I left it.»
